RAISE consultation on Big Lottery funding allocation changes
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is consulting on plans to change how the National Lottery good causes money is divided between arts, heritage, sports and the Big Lottery Fund (BIG). Currently BIG receives 50% of the total money obtained from the National Lottery good causes allocation. The proposals may change the way that money is distributed and reduce the proportion allocated to BIG to 40%. Funding from BIG is an important source of income for many voluntary and community organisations and so the proposed changes will impact on the sector. RAISE will be submitting a response to the consultation and would like to hear your views on the proposals. Click here to read the RAISE briefing paper on the consultation. Click here to read the DCMS consultation documents. If you would like to contribute your views on the consultation, please contact Abby Lee before Friday 30th July on
