Listening, Responding, Improving

This is a one day workshop for independent care sector providers and their managers who have responsibility for handling and resolving complaints.    

By the end of the workshop participants will understand: 

• the complaints landscape including the Local Government Ombudsman’s new role in the independent care sector – from 1^st October 2010 
• how to distinguish between a concern (grumble) and a complaint and respond accordingly
• what stakeholders are looking for from complaints
• how to develop a more resolution focused approach
• how to learn from compliments, comments, concerns and complaints

The training is fun yet challenging, providing tangible strategies and techniques that can be readily implemented.
