The People's Postcode Lottery
Small Grants Programme provides grants ranging from £500 - £10,000.
Applications from registered charities and community groups in the South East will open on Monday April 8th
Does your project fall into one of these categories?

  • Purchase of capital items
  • Creation of community gardens/allotments
  • Purchase and/or installation of energy saving devices/equipment
  • Workshops that provide tangible results (such as qualifications or skills)
  • Conservation of wildlife and habitats
  • Diversionary projects for youths

Fuserna Foundation Grant Value: £5,000 - £15,000

The Fuserna Foundation revitalises and supports charities and charitable projects that are subject to financial constraints and have a combined lack of exposure and publicity in relation to their charitable cause. The Foundation will usually issue grants between £5,000 and £15,000. Applications can be submitted at any time.

H.B. Allen Charitable Trust

This is a general charitable trust. The Trustees have no restrictions on them as to the kinds of project or the areas they can support. The Trustees are prepared to fund core costs as well as capital projects, but they are unlikely to provide initial funding for newly established organisations

The Marchig Animal Welfare Trust 
The Marchig Animal Welfare Trust makes grants to organisations and individuals for positive contributions that meet the objectives of the Trust.
All applications meeting the following criteria will be considered by the Trust:

  • Those encouraging initiatives designed to improve animal welfare.
  • Those promoting alternative methods to animal experimentation and their practical implementation.
  • Those promoting and encouraging practical work in alleviating suffering and preventing cruelty to animals.
  • Those groups who are registered charities
  • Applications from individuals will generally not be considered unless they are certified/supported by their local municipality and/or by a major animal welfare association functioning in their country

There are no restrictions on the geographical area of the work, the type of grant, or the applicant.

Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust  - Grants of £1,000 - £10,000 
The objectives of the Trust are to donate to UK registered charities whose purposes encompass one or more of the following:

  • to benefit or protect animals
  • to relieve animals from suffering
  • to conserve wild life
  • to encourage the understanding of animals

The Trust invites applications for funding, which are then reviewed against specific criteria, as set by the Trustees in accordance with the objectives of the Trust.
