Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs in the UK 2011
|
|
This unique and prestigious Award is being sponsored by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the serial entrepreneur best known for founding easyJet.
The creation of the Award was motivated by Stelios’ goal of not only supporting disabled entrepreneurs, but also raising awareness of the skills and inventiveness of those with disabilities.
The Leonard Cheshire Disability are working in partnership with Stelios to find the winning disabled entrepreneur, who will be awarded a £50,000 prize to fund the further growth of their business. The two runners-up will also receive a prize of £1,000 each.

| Heritage Lottery Fund information and advice sessions |

|
HLF South East England is now running bi-monthly pre-application information sessions at our London office. These events are open to all potential applicants.
Sessions will include the following:
- a presentation on HLF criteria and main grant programmes, including case studies and tips for writing a strong application (11am-12pm);
- 35 minute one-to-one advice surgeries (From 12pm. These must be booked in advance).
Dates for 2011 are:
- Friday 7 October;
- Friday 2 December.
