| The Lord's Taverners Non Turf Pitch Grants |
Grant Value: up to £3,000 |
|
The Lord’s Taverners is accredited by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as the official national charity for recreational cricket.
Applications can be made for grants towards the installation of non-turf pitches, practice ends and nets. Awards do not normally exceed the following levels:
•Non-turf match pitch - £3,000
•Non-turf practice - £2,000
•Outdoor nets - £1,000

| Sportmatch |
|
Sportsmatch is a funding programme managed by Sport England to support the development of grassroots sport in England. They makes awards of up to £100,000 to voluntary and community organisations, sports clubs and local authorities to run projects aimed at increasing or sustaining participation in sports at community level.
They do this through matching sponsorship from commercial companies, charitable trusts or private individuals wishing to invest in community sport.
They are continuing to accept new applications for funding, however any award would need to be spent by 31 March 2012.
